Department of Mathematics is the first science course started in the institution which was established in the year 2016. B.Sc. Mathematics was started during the academic year 2017 - 2018 with a sanctioned strength of 60 students
Activities:
·     We have Inaugurated Mathematics Association Pi – Rates on 10.02.2020. Mr.M.Muthu Krishanan, Manager, Sales and Planning, Ammarun Foundaries, Vilankuruchi is the chief guest. He delivered a lecture on the topic Kanithamum valvial nerium.
·     Organized Interdepartmental Quiz Competition on 13.02.2020. Economics deparment students got the first prize, and B.Com department students got second prize. 
·     Organised an awareness programme on Ambulance service
·     Our Department Students participated in various intercollegiate competitions and won various prizes.
o  M.Shafiq and S.Nivetha of II B.Sc Mathematics got 2nd prize in the Math Act competition organized by Department of Mathematics, Sankara College, Coimabtore
o  V.Vyssnavi and S.A.Subhiksha of II B.Sc Mathematics got third prize of Rs.1000 in the cooking competition organized by KG Arts & Science College, 2019 – 2020
o  V.Vyssnavi and S.A.Subhiksha of II B.Sc Mathematics got 3rd place in Math Rangoli organied by department of Mathematics, Himdusthan Arts and Science College
o  S.Abarna and S.Nivetha of II B.Sc Mathematics got 3rd place in Math skeching 3rd prize
